A cook is included in the price for Tranquillity Villa. Food and drink is not included in the price and guests may either go shopping with the cook or just have the cook provision for them. Usually the first night's dinner and first morning's breakfast is prepared for the guests so they don’t have to worry about shopping as soon as they arrive. The cost of the dinner and breakfast provisions is simply added to their food and drink bill at the end of their stay. Food and drink are charged at cost price and the guests simply have to settle the bill with the grocery store in the harbour before they leave.

Tranquility Villa is away from it all amidst beautiful and natural tropical flora.
This multi leveled house is built into the hillside to take advantage of the spectacular views and cooling trade winds - on the hillside overlooking the beach.
Every bedroom, the lounge, the dining room, the pool area and all of the patios
have phenomenal views of the secluded Moonhole Beach
and of dozens of islands in the sparkling Caribbean Ocean.
Below you can see the master ensuite bedroom with its king sized bed
and its large private patio. The room is open and airy with large archways that let in the cooling breeze and provide stunning views. There is a shady spot with a hammock and an outside seating area on the large tiled terrace.
The master bedroom is on the top level of the villa.
Moonhole is located on the western peninsula of Bequia
on approximately 20 acres of rich wooded land.
One awakes to the music of mocking birds and the Bequia Black Birds singing,
"Bequia Sweet Sweet Sweet"
- an ideal place for those of us who are at one with nature
and a wonderful place for swimming, hiking, reading and bird watching.
(Frigate Bird, Booby, Mocking Bird, Heron, Osprey, Tropic Bird and many others.)
On the second level is the lounge, the dining room, the kitchen, the music room, library and another large clay tiled terrace that opens onto the pool area.

Tranquility Villa has open and airy living areas.
Comfortably appointed for lounging or entertaining, indoors or out.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas stove, a large electric refrigerator and ample counter space. Tranquility Villa comes with a house keeper so you will never have clean during your stay. Off the kitchen is a utilities room with washer and dryer.

The music room and extensive library is a small comfortable area with a piano adjoining the lounge. Here you can see steps leading down to the two bedrooms on the next level down.
Tranquility Villa is designed to take advantage of the prevailing tradewinds. Each bedroom faces east and has large open windows. This also affords fantastic views of numerous uninhabited islands close by.Wake up to the sound of birds singing and look out onto the ocean from your bed.
On the third level down there are two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The first bedroom, the Papaya room, has a double bed and a comfortable day bed by the window overlooking a third patio and small lilly pond.
The second bedroom, the Sunflower room, has a queen sized bed. This also opens onto the same large large patio as the Papaya room.
The patio off these two bedrooms has the same great views found throughout the house.
The final bedroom, the Turquoise room on the fourth level down
has an ensuite bathroom with its own private patio.
The pool is ideally situated off the second level with easy access from all rooms.
As you can see from the photos the house is completely private
without the worry of neighbours or noise.The pool and sundeck look out onto a number of uninhabited islands close by.
Adjoining the dining room is the open and airy lounge.
The lounge opens on to a large clay tiled patio.
In one corner of the lounge is a large day bed..
The secluded Moonhole Beach is just a two minute walk from Tranquility.
This sandy beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing or just relaxing
in the shade and reading.Why not have an evening barbecue on the beach?

Please contact us with the number travelling in your group and let us know the airport from which you plan to depart. We will then provide you with your airline itinerary and arrange the best possible airfare and connections to this unique property located on Bequia. I'll need your specific Barbados airline information, i.e. airline name, flight # and local Barbados arrival/departure times/dates. We can then advise of specific connections available for you. Our flights depart Barbados daily around 12:30 and 16:30 with the return from Bequia getting you back to Barbados around 12 Noon. Baggage allowance is 20kg (44lbs.) each passenger. I can ticket you.
