Picture yourself swinging in a hammock on a wrap-around verandah where the warm sun and cool breezes take turns to caress your face. You look out onto the sea and wonder that the colour blue could exist in so many hues, the sky could be so bright and the green of the islands so vibrant. It seems like you could just reach out from the balcony of ‘Las Tortugas’ and pick a piece of heaven. Yes, Heaven, otherwise known as Carriacou, Grenadines. Perched on Sugar Hill, in the Southwest corner of Carriacou, 5 minutes from Lauriston airport, ‘Las Tortugas’ embraces your tired and jet-lagged mind and body with her warm, clay tiled roofs and bright white walls.

Your bare feet are cool against the terra cotta tiles that carry you through open arches onto the large covered verandah and sundeck. You gratefully reach for a glass of ice cold rum punch, and as the drops from the frosty glass cool your fingers, you slip into a beckoning lounge chair, sipping and sighing at the view of Sandy Island, Union Island and the beautiful white sand and lapping waters of Paradise Beach just steps away.

(The Turtles) is a comfortable two bedroom home perched on a small, breezy hill overlooking the ocean, a network of coral reefs and the islands of the southern Grenadines. Set on almost an acre of hillside, its location affords privacy, while providing easy access to the mile-long white sands of Paradise Beach. This spacious, brand-new villa is fully furnished in Spanish Caribbean Style, replete with hand painted murals and accessories. Perfect for families and friends looking for privacy, comfort and relaxation.

 
 

 

Living/Dining Room
The open plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen , wrap-around bar, dining area, loft, laundry and powder room . Downstairs is a large recreation room with access to the beach via stairs and a path down the hillside.

Kitchen/Bar
The kitchen includes a gas stove, oven and microwave, and the usual small appliances (toaster, blender etc.) Cutlery, crockery etc. are provided for eight persons.

Verandah/Sundeck
Accessed via three large arched doorways from the living area, the Verandah includes a gas barbeque, and offers alfresco dining with an incredible view of the reef, Sandy Island and the Southern Grenadines.
 

Bedroom/Bath
The two large, airy master bedrooms, opening onto the sundeck are complete with ceiling fans, built-in closets and ensuite bathrooms. There is also a loft above the living room with a double bed. The  basement recreation room provides a spacious area for reading, watching movies, playing board games, etc., and the comfortable couch doubles as a single bed.

The primary accomodation is in the twin master bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom. The large patio and bedroom doors can be left open keeping the house well ventilated.  The Loft is equipped with a double bed, which is suitable for children. In the kitchen, there is a counter top stove, a gas oven and a microwave. We also have an electric frying pan, electric kettle, food processor, blender and coffee maker. There is flatware for six persons and a dinner service for eight persons, with cups and saucers and a serving platter.  There is a gas barbecue on the patio, and for music there's a boombox with a CD/cassette player.  There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is a blow dryer in the west bedroom. Towels are provided. There is a family room with satellite TV and VCR.

A rental jeep is included in the price of the villa.

Your staff will make the beds, launder bed linen and towels, clean the bathrooms, mop the floors and wash the dishes and take out the garbage, arrange for fresh fish and lobster (in season) and will fillet the fish and boil the lobster for you.

Rates are in U.S. Dollars and reflect TOTAL RENTAL PRICE. There are no last minute add-ons.
Reservations are not considered confirmed until prepaid in full.
Reservations must be accompanied at the time of booking by a 50% deposit.
A further payment of 50% is required 60-days prior to the date of arrival and is non-refundable.
The initial deposit is 100% refundable, less a 10% administrative fee and a 3.25% credit card processing fee, only if notice of cancellation is received in writing at least 60-days prior to the date of arrival.
