When on Carriacou, a MUST stop is at Tantee Robertina's Old Rum Shop, located on Tyrrel Bay, our dream anchorage for visiting yachts. The small, wooden building just steps from the wide, sandy beach is a favorite of visiting yachties who dinghy up to the beach looking for a quiet place to socialize, exchange stories, and meet new people. Robertina is well known for her tasty BBQ and local island cuisine. When you know that you will be here for a few days, stop by and let Robertina plan an authentic beach BBQ with local, island music. Torches provide the lighting. If the timing is right, you might also see a local fisherman casting his net. Ah.... another day in paradise!
