AEON was a Greek god symbolizing
the free life. It was in this regard that our sailing yacht was christened.
THE AEON was
built in early 1991 in Taiwan.
Her inner construction is of Teak.
AEON is based in Rodney Bay on the island of St. Lucia. She is available for charter to the islands of St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Bequia, Mustique, Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Canouan, Union, Palm, Petit St. Vincent, Petite Martinique, Carriacou and Grenada.
There are three passenger cabins. Each cabin has two bunk beds, a locker for luggage, and three hatches providing light and fresh air. There are two private toilets each with shower and sink and hot/cold running water.
The main salon has a complete kitchen, television with video, CD-player, radio, record/cassette player, library, games, and a dining area for six. We have a boat phone to allow you to stay in contact with friends, family and business associates while aboard.
Our special program includes: diving (for certified divers), snorkel equipment, waterskiing, fishing gear and tackle, breakfast, lunch and dinner food service and all port and immigration fees and charges. Only your beverage service is extra. Please let us know about any special diet or food preferences (or dislikes) so we can be prepared for your arrival.
In order to experience all the islands from St. Lucia to Grenada, we recommend a charter of 2-week duration. Should you have only a week to cruise, we will work together to realize your dream destinations.
Wulf began his Caribbean experience in 1991. Since that time, hundreds of people from all over the world have chartered AEON with many choosing to repeat the charter year after year.
Your skipper is Wulf Gerstenmaier.
Born in Germany, Wulf speaks English, German and Spanish.
Lucia Cabrera is first mate. Lucia was born in Venezuela and speaks English
and Spanish.
Wulf and Lucia will pamper you aboard and satisfy all your needs. Lucia would like you to know that many guests often bring too much personal luggage that never gets used and often unnecessarily results in "where to put it all." She recommends that your bring along: short pants, swim suits, a hat, sunglasses, long-sleeve shirt to protect against the sun, sun-block, and a sunny disposition. Leave your jackets, boots, heavy shoes, dinner jackets and evening wear at home. We offer sun, sand, smiles and cool tradewind breezes. The average temperature is constant (85°F/30°C) with water just 5° below the air temperatures. Come for sailing.
RATES: 1 person for 1 week US$1,000. But, since we have a 4-person minimum, if your group does not include four persons, please contact us and we will let you know if we have other people confirmed for the time you would like to spend and we will add you in. Otherwise, US$4,000 per week will be charged. Prices do not include: 1)beverage service but a well-stocked bar is available for your convenience onboard; 2) airport transfers to/from boat; 3) island tours.
