Eating Out at The Anchorage Yacht Club restaurant
will be the highlight of your Caribbean visit. The Anchorage Yacht Club has kept the best of the island culinary know-how and has added a French chef and a patissier to provide a taste that no one else can match at these extremely competitive prices. The sheltered, open air terrace is the ideal place for a candlelit dinner of grilled, fresh fish or lobster, for example), an English or American breakfast, or a comfortable lunch ashore.
Snacks & Take-Out Food... Morning croissants and sandwiches are made from a freshly baked French bread. Pizzas and Gateaux are made to order. The Bar... Is open non-stop from morning coffee to a bedtime cognac with draft beer on tap throughout the day. Here the cocktail LIST is almost as long as the bar! Jump-Up and Piano Bar...during the high season ( Dec to April ) the best way to appreciate the unique island ambiance is to put on your dancing shoes, make sure you are truly hungry, and step ashore to the Anchorage Yacht Club's Island Jump-Up on Mondays and Fridays. Steel band music plays live and guarantees to get you up and dancing. And not to be missed is the candlelit, flower decorated buffet that has become famous in The Grenadines. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays the intimate piano bar ambiance makes for a relaxing and romantic evening.
Showers and laundry... Yachties can buy shower or laundry tickets at the Anchorage Yacht Club Office - use them after each day's cruising.
Boutique and Newspapers... Chic island beachwear, hats, accessories, film, maps and a wide selection of foreign language newspapers, periodicals and books.
Dockage... Yachts can tie-up to the Anchorage Yacht Club Jetty by the day, just call the ANCHORAGE YACHT CLUB on VHF Channel 16 or 68 and the dock master will be there to take your lines. Water is always available, also block ice and cubes. And, if you are thinking about a BIG shopping expedition, ask about the Anchorage Yacht Club's electric minibus which takes you right into town and right back onto the dock. This service is also available to take passengers and luggage to and from the airport for a modest fee of EC$5 (about US$2), saving time for that farewell drink on the terrace Click HERE for Anchorage Yacht Club Hotel Year-round Rates
